The craziest thing happened in NYC and I’m still smiling ear to ear about this.. Meet a very close friend for coffee who’s lamenting how the startup he worked at previously never reached its true potential. We brainstorm a few ideas of what it would look like in this agent era. I said I’ll prototype a few things over the weekend. Immediately after this convo, I walk over to a startups office whose team I have respected for many many years but have never met in person. Expected to go in and just hang out for a bit. I walk in and they tell me they are pivoting and show me a prototype of the EXACT idea we had discussed with my friend. But, obviously it’s 5x better. It’s like they overheard my conversation and built it in 15 minutes. Luck? Coincidence? Serendipity? Bubble? Whatever it is, it was so awesome. I’m so excited to be their first beta customer!
